A brilliant sunny day to go down to Uxbridge Boat Centre. There are loads of summer plans and baskets outside the shop and it looks stunning.
I have popped in for a long bow line. If I am going to manage Hallmark alone I need a 60 foot line that I can handle from the back deck. As ever Lesley is super. It is cut and two spliced ends are in place before you know it.
Once paid up just time for a quick look at the boat. Sitting on the back of Vaga-5 is the owner hard at work painting a brand new Buckley can. Time passes as you paint.
