Walking down in Paddington

There is nothing like walking along a canal in the capital.
You never know what you are going to come across.
Today I was walking between Portobello dock and the Paddington Basin and here is a small collection of photos recording bits and pieces.
I would have rather been chugging along on Hallmark of course.
I actually have not been on the Paddingtom Arm for about eith years and so I have not taken Hallmark right into the basin.
Must do that soon.............

First up (above) is this great shot of the repainting of Liberty's sign.

Next (above) is a very realistic boatman statue.
There are actually two of them standing near where the A40(M) cross the run into Paddington Basin.

Finally here is a bit of the old among the new glass and high rise buildings around the basin.
A small warehouse with a narrowboat alongside.
Not loading or unloading as it once would have done in such a place
