Found time to slip away from the 'virtual' office today to do some canal shopping today down at the brilliant Uxbridge Boat Centre.
It is right on the Grand Union Canal opposite the General Elliot pub.
By road it is off Waterloo Road, Uxbridge, Middx UB8 2QX
What a little treasure trove this place is for anyone with a narrow boat!
The range of stuff it sells is vast!
From wood burning stoves, cookers, fridges and toilets to the smallest nut and screw.
Excellent customer service and so professionally run.
Staff are always willing to give clear advice
I used it (and no where else) in the rebuilding of Hallmark.
I picked up a really useful ash box for dealing with hot ashes from the stove, a canal guide to the upper Thames, a few magazine and a few clips
